By wanting to be beautiful, not only do we damage our natural beauty with surgeries and treatments in order to be above the rest, but we also hurt animals by using them as experiments to see if our skin can handle such treatments. I find it incredible that us humans can be so apathetic and ruthless only to gain wealth and publicity at the expense of our environment and living creatures.

In my opinion it is sad that a person destroys her face in this way for seduce someone, I think that in this way shows that is not valued and that it has lost the sense of what really matters

The vanity can be considered a capital sin?
If i look from the point of view of the pride (that's a capitla sin); In many religions vanity, in its modern sense, is considered a form of self-idolatry, in which one rejects God for the sake of one's own image, and thereby becomes divorced from the graces of God.

I remembered that we were talking about the vanity in class, so, i decided to search this image that makes me feel sickness. I cant believe that there are people with these kinds of mental disorders.
I think they use their body this way cause they're sure of the body's dead, but not of the soul's life. So they can manipulate everything while knowing that is possible to touch.

Vanity is something that we all need because is vanity what motivate us to love ourselves and to be better than the rest of the world, but like everything, in excess is wrong. Someone so vain is haughty, someone so vain is arrogant and if there’s something I have clear about this topic is that in relations where vanity is the most important thing, never love is going to work. I’ll explain it: Where man or woman have vanity as priority, there wont be real love, this because it involves that we are going to be only thinking in ourselves, or how do I look, or what I have to show, or what I can win, and a relationship as I have said is between 2, there’s no one who win, there’s no one better that the other, we are all at the same level, the level of love, is about how we work together and love each other

for me vanity is not bad depending on how you take it.
Many people do not care and others throughout her life revolves around it, become obsessed with their imperfections and want to go under the knife for everything.

the women suppose to be delicate and sweets and it can maybe has to deal with vanity. but in these days people has become the fact of vanity in the most horrible Slavery for women who seem are playing to be a barbie, or a top model sometimes starting a Ridiculous competicion against ourselves. because wanna be pretty or be beautiful is not the problem that can even be normal the problem is when that wish become in a obssesion, that make us change what we really are, in order to just fit in the Stereotype that society has created for women. Ladies: Vanity on many occasions can become us in slaves of an image we don´t have to meet the gaze of someone who we even deserve.
So let's open our eyes and let´s realize what we value and let´s see the unique beauty that each of us has inside.

However, the most beautiful feeling is getting ready for "that person"and wait for his approval, but the most beautiful is knowing that "that person" will look you the same every day, with or without makeup ... Like a Star @ heaven

Vanity can be a quality or a weakness.

Is good to see how a woman and a man take care from their selves for affection to somebody else. It’s nice feel and look pretty for my own, but let’s be realistic, is more passionate to get ready for your partner. And we have to recognize, it’s more gratifying to have someone who loves him selves that any who doesn’t. But like so many things, every in excess is awful, and that’s is why each person have to be careful with its own vanity. What do you think????
